Crew Change in Vietnam | Airport Pickup & Sign On/Off

Plan the crew movement
A joining or off-signing crew plan starts with the vessel’s port or anchorage, ETA/ETD, approved access point and flight details. SVC checks those particulars together so the road transfer, port gate or launch connection fits the vessel’s working window.
Send the port, vessel schedule, crew numbers, flight details and requested movements to our crew change team. Provide crew documents privately for the appointed job. We define the pickup, hotel, road transfer, vessel access and reporting scope before travel.

Airport pickup and road transfer
Our company driver meets the joining crew at the agreed airport pickup point and takes them to the hotel, port area, pilot station or vessel access point in the transfer plan. Staff check the arrival details and crew list, establish the pickup contact and confirm the next movement.
The plan includes flight changes, late arrival, luggage, rest or hotel needs and the road journey to the port. When a flight or vessel schedule changes, SVC revises the pickup and transfer arrangement and gives the owner or manager the updated movement record. Driver attendance and the working window are agreed for each job.

Joining crew: sign-on
SVC receives the joining crew, checks the agreed access arrangement and takes them through the commissioned local movement. The sequence may run from airport to hotel, hotel to port gate, or directly to a pilot station or launch embarkation point.
Our staff check the crew documents and movement particulars against the instructions for the vessel call. We confirm the meeting point, receiving contact and timing before the crew leaves for the port, then report the arrival or outstanding access matter to the owner, manager or manning agency.

Leaving the vessel: sign-off
For off-signing crew, SVC receives the seafarers at the agreed port gate, launch landing or other approved meeting point. Our company driver carries out the appointed transfer to the hotel or airport against the disembarkation and flight plan.
We check the departure details, waiting time and any overnight stay before setting the transfer. If the vessel or flight timing changes, staff revise the local movement and tell the owner or manager what has changed and what remains to be completed.

Port access and crew documents
Our local staff check the crew list, passport and travel particulars supplied for the job, prepare the agreed local access arrangements and examine the movement instructions with the vessel’s appointed agent. Port gate entry, launch access and the vessel receiving contact must be clear before the transfer.
Entry, exit and port access decisions remain with the relevant authorities and appointed vessel-agent process. SVC handles its local attendance and transport work against the approved arrangement; the enquiry should identify any document or access matter that needs resolution before travel.

Hotels, waiting time and changed schedules
Some crew movements need a hotel stay, meals, driver waiting time or a long road transfer between the airport and industrial port. SVC sets these parts out in the working plan, including the pickup point, hotel, receiving contact and next departure.
Tell us about an early flight, late arrival, missed connection or revised berth time as soon as it is known. We examine the new sequence and reset the local transport and accommodation arrangement instead of leaving the crew at an unclear meeting point.

Crew change at Vung Ang and Son Duong
SVC’s local staff and company driver handle the appointed crew movement around Vung Ang and Son Duong: airport reception, road transfer, hotel movement and the agreed port or launch meeting point.
Airport selection and the road journey need to fit the vessel’s ETA, berth or anchorage access and flight timing. Send the proposed airport and complete vessel schedule so the crew plan includes the transfer window and any overnight stay. No travel time is assumed before the actual pickup and destination are known.

Vietnam ports and airport pickup points
Crew change enquiries can cover the following existing service areas. State the exact berth, anchorage, shipyard or access point; the port name alone is insufficient for a pickup and vessel-access plan.
Airport pickup enquiries include Hanoi, Hai Phong, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, Vinh and Cam Ranh, as well as another airport identified in the travel plan. The confirmed scope depends on the requested movement, flight and vessel timing, access arrangement and available attendance.

Crew hospital attendance and onward travel
SVC also carries out local agency work for crew hospital attendance in Vietnam. The record covers vessel-to-shore transport, contact with the receiving hospital and the required port formalities; it is separate from the routine crew-change transfer.
For a requested return to the vessel or repatriation, identify the owner’s instructions, travel plan and vessel access. We arrange the commissioned local movement and report the outstanding transport or access matters privately. Hospital examination and treatment remain the hospital’s work.

Movement records for the owner or manager
SVC records the agreed pickup and transfer, crew arrival, port meeting point and onward departure status. The owner, manager or manning agency receives the operational update through the appointed job contact.
Flight changes, changed access, a hotel stay or a revised receiving point are reported with the action taken and the next requirement. Crew documents and personal travel details belong in the private job record, not a public case story.
