Owner’s Representative Services
SVC Marine provides owner’s representative services for shipowners, vessel buyers, managers and investors who require practical on-site attendance, technical coordination and project follow-up in Vietnam and selected international maritime projects.
We support owners during drydock, ship repair, vessel inspection, pre-purchase evaluation, delivery, handover and technical operations by acting as the owner-side coordination and reporting team.

Independent Owner-Side Attendance for Maritime Projects
In ship repair, drydock, vessel purchase, delivery and operational projects, owners often need someone on the ground who understands both technical execution and commercial risk. A weak local interface can lead to unclear scope, delayed decisions, poor documentation, unnecessary cost and avoidable disputes.
SVC Marine acts as an owner-side representative to monitor work progress, coordinate with shipyards, vendors, surveyors and vessel staff, collect evidence, report key issues and protect the owner’s technical and commercial interests.
Our role is practical and coordination-focused. We do not replace the vessel’s class society, flag authority, certified manager, shipyard or statutory service provider. We help the owner control information, execution risk and communication between all involved parties.
Where SVC Marine Can Represent the Owner
Drydock & Ship Repair
Attendance during drydock, repair period, steel work, class survey items, machinery repair, coating work and final project closing.
Pre-Purchase Inspection
Onboard inspection support, technical condition review, photo documentation, repair risk identification and buyer-side assessment before vessel purchase.
Vessel Takeover & Delivery
Support during handover, crew change, documentation check, port coordination, repair planning and delivery preparation after vessel sale.
Class & Survey Coordination
Practical coordination with attending surveyors, UTM companies, LSA/FFE providers, radio survey providers and approved service vendors.
Technical Operation Support
Owner-side follow-up for repair planning, maintenance coordination, superintendent support, vendor communication and monthly technical reporting.
Port & Local Vendor Coordination
Local support for port calls, urgent repair, marine supply, spare parts, riding teams, underwater services and service provider arrangement.
Owner’s Representative, Not Just a Messenger
A proper owner’s representative should not only forward messages between the shipyard, vessel and owner. The real value is to understand the project risk, verify the situation, document evidence, ask the right technical questions and make sure the owner receives clear, decision-ready information.
SVC Marine focuses on practical project control: what is delayed, what is unclear, what needs owner approval, what requires class follow-up, what should be documented, and what may create extra cost if not handled early.

Owner’s Representative for Vessel Buyers

This is especially useful when the buyer is not physically present in Vietnam or needs a local team to coordinate between seller, broker, shipyard, agent, crew, class and port-related parties.
Owner’s Representative for Drydock and Repair Projects
During drydock or repair projects, SVC Marine can attend the vessel and shipyard on behalf of the owner to monitor steel repair, hull inspection, tank inspection, machinery-related work, class survey items, safety equipment servicing, underwater inspection and final work done confirmation.
