SVC Marine at a Glance
Built for Real Vessel Execution
SVC Marine was built for maritime clients who need more than a contact list or a local introduction. Many vessel projects require commercial judgment, technical screening, field attendance, shipyard control, vendor coordination, class follow-up, documentation awareness and owner-side reporting at the same time.
SVC Marine operates at this intersection. We support clients through both commercial and technical workstreams, helping them control execution risk in vessel transactions, drydock projects, repair attendance, port operations, marine supply and post-delivery vessel preparation.
With an international structure registered in the United Arab Emirates and practical operations in Vietnam, SVC Marine connects cross-border maritime decision-making with local field execution.
Founder & Director
- Deputy Head, Design Department — Hyundai Vinashin Shipyard (HVS)
- Deputy Head, Loading Master Operations — Son Duong Port, Formosa Ha Tinh
- Director, SVC Marine Services — since 2020
- Hands-on shipyard, newbuilding and drydock project experience
- Vessel inspection, technical troubleshooting and marine/port operations
- Experience working with class societies including Turkish Lloyd, RINA, DNV, Lloyd’s Register, NKK and BRS
SVC Marine is led by Daniel Ho, whose background spans shipbuilding, port operations and marine field execution. His shipyard and newbuilding experience at Hyundai Vinashin Shipyard, combined with loading master and port operations experience at Son Duong Port (Formosa Ha Tinh), underpins how SVC Marine approaches vessel work: from the yard and the deck, not only from the desk.
This operational foundation shapes SVC Marine’s core method — screening vessels and repair scopes on technical merit, attending work in person, controlling vendors and shipyards, following class items and reporting back to owners with practical, evidence-based updates.
The objective is to help owners, managers and buyers control technical, commercial and operational exposure across the full vessel lifecycle — from acquisition to first cargo.

- Supports vessel sourcing and transaction screening
- Reviews practical technical and commercial risk
- Coordinates inspection, delivery, repair and drydock follow-up
- Works with shipyards, vendors, class-related parties and local teams
- Provides owner-side reporting and execution control

Execution Philosophy
Practical First
We focus on what can actually be done for the vessel: port access, repair capability, class requirement, manpower, schedule, spare parts and cost impact.
Owner-Side Mindset
We work from the owner’s position, helping clients control technical, commercial and operational exposure.
Clear Reporting
We provide practical updates, photo records, defect lists, progress status, pending issues and recommended next actions.
Integrated Workstreams
Shipbroking, inspection, drydock, repair, marine supply and technical attendance are connected and managed through one coordinated platform.
Compliance-Aware Coordination
We recognise the importance of class, flag, port, safety, sanctions, banking and regulatory issues. We support practical coordination while final decisions remain with the responsible authorities, advisers and contractual parties.
