Vietnam-built tanker sale

The double-hull tanker was built in Vietnam in March 2018. Its approximately 12,939 DWT capacity placed it in a different purchase segment from smaller coastal tankers.

SVC completed the sale of the vessel, with physical delivery in Vietnam on 6 October 2023.

Vessel size and the purchase requirements

The vessel had a length overall of 117.37 metres, beam of 17.6 metres and main-engine power of 2,647 kW. These particulars defined the size of the vessel offered in this completed sale.

For another acquisition, port dimensions and intended cargo should be checked against the actual candidate. SVC’s appointed onboard inspection examines the condition and the agreed technical scope before the client commits to the purchase.

Discuss a tanker acquisition in Vietnam

For an oil or chemical tanker purchase, send the intended cargo, coating or cargo-system requirements, capacity range, class and delivery window. SVC searches the candidates, inspects the appointed onboard scope and negotiates the purchase and MOA terms under the client’s mandate.

Inspection findings, the repair budget and agreed delivery conditions belong in the purchase decision. See ship sale and purchase.
