Standard Container
Best suited where
- Cargo fits standard dimensions
- Weight is within limits
- Container route exists
- Cargo can be loaded into container safely

01
SVC Marine handles non-containerized cargo shipments from Vietnam, including vessel or part-cargo matching, freight work, lifting and stowage review, cargo securing, floating-crane arrangements and port-operation execution.
We review the cargo as physical units - dimensions, weight, packing, lifting points, stackability, stowage footprint and securing requirement - before deciding how the shipment should move.
A cargo can be commercially booked and still fail at the port if it does not fit through the hatch, exceeds lifting capacity, cannot be stowed as expected or reaches the vessel without the required dunnage and securing plan.

03
Breakbulk shipping moves cargo as individual units, packages, crates, bundles, bags, machinery or other non-containerized pieces rather than inside standard shipping containers.
Breakbulk is commonly used where cargo dimensions, unit weight, packing, handling requirements, parcel size or port conditions make standard container transport impractical or commercially inefficient.
A breakbulk shipment requires vessel-space selection, cargo access review, lifting planning, stowage, cargo protection, securing and clear loading and discharge responsibilities.
SVC Marine arranges and executes the shipment. It is not a vessel owner, terminal operator, crane owner or engineering authority for the cargo.

May suit
May suit
May be required where
Not every oversized cargo is project cargo, and not every non-container cargo requires a full vessel charter.
05
Parcel-level figures decide freight basis. Unit-level figures decide whether the shipment is physically possible.
Total shipment weight does not tell the vessel whether one unit can be lifted through the hatch.
06
Two cargo parcels with the same total weight may require very different vessel space.
The stowage factor is checked against the actual cargo data for the shipment.
07
Hold capacity on a vessel particulars sheet is not proof that a specific cargo unit can be loaded.
08
Used for commercial quotation, stowage allocation and vessel capacity planning.
Decides whether it loads at all
The heaviest individual unit must sit within the capacity and practical lifting envelope of the intended handling arrangement.
Tandem lifting capability is never assumed merely because a vessel has two cranes.
Combined lifting requires verified vessel capability, the correct crane configuration and the approved lifting arrangements for the particular operation.

Key risks
Potential fit
Tonnage search, freight negotiation and fixture are handled under Vessel Chartering Services.
11
Dangerous-goods compatibility is not certified by SVC Marine. Where DG cargo is involved, specialist review and the applicable regulatory documentation govern the stowage and segregation decision.
12
Cargo-ready date must describe cargo that can actually enter the loading operation, not only cargo that has finished production.
13
14
Risks
Not every anchorage permits cargo transfer. Port permission, local rules and safe working conditions govern whether the operation can proceed. Details: Floating Crane Services.

16
Cargo Lashing & Securing Services
Formal securing calculations or sea-fastening engineering remain with the appropriately qualified or appointed party where required. SVC Marine executes the approved arrangement.
17
Cargo-specific weather sensitivity should be defined before fixture, not discovered on the quay.
18
Condition recording is factual observation. It does not determine legal liability between shipper, carrier, stevedore or receiver.
19
A cargo unit that is physically on the vessel but inaccessible at the discharge port is not correctly stowed.
Formal stability and vessel stowage approval remain with the responsible vessel officers and technical parties.
20
Fixture mechanics, offer stages and charter terms are covered on Vessel Chartering Services.
21
A lower freight rate can be more expensive when the vessel requires more external handling or creates slower cargo operations.
22
Obtain suitable commercial options against the confirmed operational basis.
Attend the operation where separately appointed.

Port Captaincy & Bunker Survey Services
26
Engineered movement where lifting, routing or sea fastening requires a dedicated project scope.
Project Cargo Shipping
Mobile machinery with movable parts, wheels or tracks requiring dedicated restraint.
Heavy Equipment Shipping
Dense cargo where rolling, sliding and contact damage dominate the securing decision.
Steel & Equipment Shipping
Hold dryness and moisture control govern acceptance before loading.
Fertilizer Shipping
Cleanliness, infestation and fumigation documentation drive the hold requirement.
Rice Shipping
Where the cargo does not require breakbulk handling, it moves under general freight execution.

This corridor generates heavy industry, steel, fabrication, machinery, industrial cargo and project cargo - and it is where SVC Marine’s field manpower is based.
Port suitability depends on berth, draft, cargo, crane requirements and current operating conditions.
29
Additional destinations are reviewed case by case based on cargo, vessel space and port feasibility. No scheduled regular service is implied.

SVC Marine reviews individual units, not only total shipment weight.
Hatch, crane, stowage and port requirements are considered before execution.
Part cargo or dedicated tonnage may be sourced where appropriate.
SVC Marine can provide actual lashing and securing execution.
Local teams can remain involved at loading.
Cargo-operation issues involving vessel equipment can connect with local marine repair capability.
32
SVC Marine handles selected breakbulk shipment planning, vessel or space matching, freight work, local cargo-operation execution and related marine services within the agreed mandate.
Final vessel acceptance of cargo, stability, stowage, cargo securing, class requirements, port approval and contractual liability remain with the responsible parties.
Formal lifting engineering, sea-fastening calculations, Marine Warranty Survey approval or specialist transport engineering must be carried out by appropriately appointed parties where required.
Vessel space and freight remain subject to market availability.

Breakbulk shipping moves cargo as separate packages, units, crates, bundles, bags, machinery or other non-containerized cargo directly onboard a vessel.
Cargo may be suitable where dimensions, weight, packing, parcel size, handling or port conditions make standard container shipment impractical or commercially inefficient.
Breakbulk is a shipping method for non-containerized units. Project cargo generally involves more complex oversized, heavy or engineered transport requirements. Some project cargo moves as breakbulk, but not all breakbulk cargo requires project-level engineering.

Selected machinery and heavy-equipment shipments may be handled subject to dimensions, weight, lifting, stowage and securing requirements.
Yes. SVC Marine has substantial lashing manpower around Son Duong - Vung Ang and can execute selected securing work separately.
Selected floating-crane solutions may be arranged depending on cargo weight, port, vessel, availability and local permission.
Yes, subject to vessel space, cargo compatibility, loading and discharge sequence and schedule.
SVC Marine can review practical stowage requirements, but formal engineering or vessel stability approval remains with the appropriately appointed vessel and technical parties.
Yes. Port captaincy or local cargo-operation attendance can be separately arranged.
No. Freight and vessel space remain subject to current market availability, cargo details and commercial terms.
Multiple ports may be suitable depending on vessel draft, berth, crane, cargo dimensions and local facilities. SVC Marine reviews the actual cargo and port combination before confirming the transport route.
