Deck crane and hydraulic repair in Vietnam
Plan deck crane, cylinder and hydraulic pump repair with SVC Marine. View Hai Phong and Cam Pha work photographs and send the equipment worklist.
01
Deck crane and hydraulic repairs
SVC Marine repairs deck cranes, hydraulic cylinders and cargo hold hydraulic pumps in Vietnam. Our project records include jib crane work in Hai Phong, hatch cover cylinder overhaul at Cam Pha and hydraulic pump repair at Vissai. Crane and hydraulic requests are assessed against the actual equipment, recorded fault and vessel schedule.
Start with the maker, model and equipment reference. State when the problem appears and include the readings, alarms or observations already recorded aboard. Give the port, working window and cargo-operation schedule. Keep any preliminary diagnosis separate from measured facts so inspection can address the actual equipment.

02
Jib crane work in Hai Phong
The Hai Phong jib crane record includes a crane drawing, a lowered boom at anchorage, technicians at the jib and pedestal, workshop parts and a water-bag test photograph. The project photographs cover the onboard and workshop stages, including the crane access and test arrangements.
For a new enquiry, mark the affected assembly on the maker drawing. Indicate whether the request concerns the boom structure, connections, rotating assembly, lifting equipment or operating system. Supply photographs that show both the detail and its location on the crane. Include known component references and any existing inspection findings to help define the inspection and repair scope.
03
Cylinder overhaul and pump attendance
The Cam Pha hatch cover cylinder record shows dismantling, bore inspection, machining and test-bench scenes. The Vissai hydraulic pump record covers a separate pump attendance. These are related hydraulic subjects with their own equipment references and work requirements.
A cylinder enquiry needs the drawing, dimensions when documented, mounting arrangement and observed condition. A pump enquiry needs the pump identification and its place in the system, along with the vessel's recorded symptoms. State whether removal, workshop work and refitting are requested, and identify the time available for returning components to the vessel.
Parts should be linked to the correct machine and specification. The worklist can distinguish seals, rods, bearings, hoses, valves and other proposed items where relevant. Availability and suitability are assessed against the actual equipment. Confirm the equipment reference and part specification before supply.
04
Access, lifting and operational restrictions
The vessel's arrangements determine how the repair team can reach the equipment and handle components. Include the intended working location, access route, lifting arrangements and any interference with cargo handling. An anchorage attendance and a workshop job involve different transfers and receiving instructions. Define these arrangements before fixing the attendance plan.
Keep the crane worklist connected to the cargo hold and hatch repair hub when hatch machinery or hold access forms part of the same call. Structural steel items can be listed separately with references to steel repair and hot work.
05
Testing as a defined work item
The crane load-test record shows water bags and test equipment. A new test requires its own agreed scope, arrangements and witness requirements. Ask the quotation to identify the functional checks, tests and documents proposed for each repaired component. Where a Surveyor attends, define that responsibility and the acceptance record in advance.
06
Plan attendance around the actual port call
Send the port or anchorage, ETA, ETD, available working period and any vessel restrictions with the defect list. SVC reviews the required access, planned cargo operations and other work that affects attendance. The quotation identifies inspection, parts, fabrication, onboard labour, testing and any attendance by a Surveyor. Agree the required completion records, witness arrangements and handover responsibilities before work starts so each item can be followed through to completion.
For a wider worklist, use SVC Marine ship repair services. Email the repair enquiry with drawings, equipment references and photographs through the private enquiry channel. SVC Marine is proud to help complete the full lifecycle of a vessel.
