For a Cai Mep call, identify the terminal or anchorage and the vessel time window. If underwater inspection or cleaning is requested, send the hull area, propeller scope, vessel condition and any inspection requirement. Our divers carry out the appointed underwater work and provide the agreed photo, video and diving report.

SVC divers inspect the appointed hull plating, propeller, rudder and underwater fittings at Cai Mep. We record the coverage with identified CCTV and still images, then issue the SVC diving report with the findings for the superintendent. A previous inspection report helps identify the areas that need a comparison.
For underwater hull cleaning at Cai Mep, our divers clean the agreed surfaces and record the work area by area. Propeller polishing stays a separate work item, with before-and-after images and any remaining work identified at handover. The owner can combine inspection, cleaning and polishing in one attendance while keeping each deliverable clear.
Send the terminal or anchorage, ETA and ETD, underwater worklist and the available diving window. Identify cargo operations and machinery movements that affect access, and specify which areas need photographs, video or written observations.
Beyond Cai Mep, our divers also carry out underwater inspection, hull cleaning and propeller work for calls at Phu My, Thi Vai and Cat Lai. See the Vietnam underwater service scope and include the next port in the vessel’s worklist.
03
Our repair teams attend the vessel and carry out the appointed steel, pipework, mechanical or electrical scope. Our divers undertake the appointed underwater work. Inspection findings, progress photographs, test results and outstanding items are recorded in the SVC job report.
Work at berth or anchorage is confirmed against the actual vessel location, safe access, port permissions, isolation arrangements and the time available. The quotation defines the work, materials, deliverables and exclusions. Additional work is quoted for approval.
04
Email [email protected] with the port and terminal or anchorage, ETA and ETD, defect description, equipment maker and model, photographs or drawings, and the proposed worklist. State any class or survey attendance requirement. SVC will review the scope and issue a quotation.
01
SVC divers examine the appointed hull, propeller, rudder and underwater fittings for a Cai Mep call, recording visible condition with identified photographs or CCTV. Send the area of concern, the vessel's observations and the actual berth or anchorage so our diving team can define the inspection worklist.
A routine condition record, a suspected hull defect and a propeller concern need different coverage. Identify what the superintendent needs to decide after the inspection: comparing an earlier finding, examining a nominated location or defining the next cleaning or repair scope. Mark the affected area on a drawing where possible, and keep an uncertain position as a question for examination.
02
For a hull request, identify the nominated plating and nearby reference points, and list the rudder or fittings that also require examination. For a propeller concern, specify the blade or area where the vessel has reported damage, vibration or another observation. SVC records the appointed component separately so the owner can distinguish a hull view from a propulsion-component view.
The report identifies the areas examined, visible findings and any coverage limitation. If visibility, access or the available window prevents a requested view, that limitation remains in the handover. A visible-condition record helps define the next work; the team should distinguish what the images show from an unverified cause or a test that has not been performed.
The photograph shows the propeller blades and hub during an SVC underwater inspection. See the Vietnam underwater service scope for related inspection work. For a Cai Mep call, nominate the component views the vessel team needs and provide a drawing or earlier report to identify their positions.
03
Cai Mep enquiries cover particular terminals and receiving positions, not one interchangeable berth. State the terminal name, berth or anchorage, ETA, ETD and expected vessel movements. If the ship will shift between inspection and cargo work, send the sequence and the available diving window rather than only the port name.
Our team agrees the appointed work and access arrangements with the vessel and relevant port or terminal parties before attendance. Identify cargo operations, machinery requirements and restrictions affecting the nominated underwater areas. A receiving-point description helps define the plan; permission and safe work conditions still need to be confirmed for that call.
Where an inspection is intended for a surveyor or another reviewing party, send the requested coverage, reporting format and witnessing requirements at the enquiry stage. SVC records the work actually performed against that appointed scope; the report does not replace the reviewing party's acceptance decision.
04
An owner can request underwater inspection, hull cleaning and propeller polishing in the same attendance, with each area and deliverable identified. Inspection records visible condition. Cleaning records the surfaces worked on and any remaining areas. Propeller polishing is a separate component task, with the appointed blade coverage and before-and-after records stated in the worklist.
SVC prepares the quotation from the vessel particulars, reported condition, nominated areas and available window. Describe whether the enquiry is for inspection only or also for cleaning, polishing or an identified repair. Additional work requires its own agreed scope and approval rather than being assumed from the inspection request.
The earlier Cai Mep anchorage hull-cleaning record shows a separate completed cleaning job. Use the Vietnam underwater service scope when specifying inspection, cleaning or polishing for your current call, and identify the appointed surfaces and components.
05
Agree which areas require still images, video coverage and written observations before attendance. Send an earlier inspection report when the owner needs a comparison, with the component positions identified. A photograph is more useful when the superintendent can relate it to the drawing, surrounding plating or nominated fitting.
SVC's diving handover records the appointed coverage, findings and limitations, with the images or CCTV that were actually obtained. Cleaning or polishing records remain distinguishable when those tasks are included. An inaccessible area, incomplete view or proposed next repair stays visible in the record so the vessel team can plan the next action from the findings.
06
For a subsequent receiving point in Phu My, Thi Vai or Cat Lai, send the new berth and work window with the existing defect record. Underwater attendance is agreed against the actual receiving point, access arrangements and nominated work. Send supply requisitions separately when stores or spares are also needed for the next call.
The wider Cai Mep worklist can include appointed steel, pipe, mechanical or electrical repairs and replacement spares. Send these items to the repair team with equipment references, photographs, access and inspection requirements. For provisions, stores and technical supply, send the item descriptions, quantities, units and required delivery point to the Ship Supply department.
07
Does an underwater inspection include hull cleaning? Only when cleaning is identified in the worklist. State the areas to inspect and the surfaces to clean, with the required records for each task.
Can a propeller inspection explain a vibration? Send the reported symptoms and nominated components. SVC records visible condition within the inspection scope; a cause that needs further mechanical examination or testing remains a separate question.
Can the work be done while cargo operations continue? The vessel and terminal arrangements, machinery restrictions, access and available window determine the plan. Send the operational sequence so the appointed diving work can be assessed for the actual call.
What if underwater visibility is limited? Identify the required views before attendance. The handover records coverage and visibility limitations alongside the photographs or CCTV actually obtained.
What should I send for a quotation? Email the terminal or anchorage, ETA/ETD, vessel particulars, nominated hull or propeller areas, fault history, drawings or previous report, the inspection/cleaning/polishing worklist and any surveyor requirement to the SVC repair team.
