Two vessels selected for the same trading requirement
The project required matched general cargo capacity for a regional rice service. Geared vessels could work at ports where shore-handling facilities were limited, while draft and capacity had to fit the planned trade.
SVC brought the two sister vessels into one sale proposal and checked the inspection and delivery programme for the pair.
Survey windows and one closing programme
Two vessels create two sets of survey and handover tasks. SVC aligned the survey windows and prepared compatible transaction documents so both vessels could be delivered together.
The project also included charter commitments for the intended rice service. SVC completed the sale and both vessels were delivered in Vietnam on 20 December 2024.
Prepare a paired-vessel acquisition
For a similar acquisition, send the cargo, route, port draft limits, cargo-gear requirements and target capacity. Identify whether the vessels must be sisters and whether simultaneous delivery is essential.
SVC searches the candidates, inspects the agreed areas and negotiates the appointed purchase mandate, including MOA terms and delivery requirements. Explore vessel sourcing and completed vessel sales.
