01

Translate the crew list into complete product lines

We convert the bonded requisition into complete products and purchasing units. Give the product and brand, the volume or contents of an individual pack, how many packs form the selling unit and the number of selling units required. Keep a separate reference for each product so the receiver can reconcile the accepted goods.

SVC uses that description to return the proposed supply. A familiar brand name is not enough to determine pack size or case contents. If the original list uses an abbreviation, resolve its meaning before treating the corresponding quantity as a confirmed purchasing instruction.

02

Agree alternatives without changing the unit silently

Our team sets out alternatives clearly before they are accepted for purchase. Compare the total contents, not only the number of cartons. Obtain acceptance of the chosen product and quantity before purchase; do not convert a pending request into a ready line merely because a similar item can be found.

Keep the accepted bonded proposal separate from the ordinary food requisition. A cook’s approval of fresh produce does not approve an unrelated crew-store alternative. The relevant buyer should be able to identify exactly which proposal has been accepted.

03

Confirm the Cua Lo receiving arrangement

We check supply documents and the nominated Cua Lo receiving arrangement. SVC confirms proposed availability, the supply arrangement and available documents for that particular call. Any applicable authorisations and receiving requirements need to be established before dispatch.

Bonded storage and the ship’s receiving arrangement are handled as part of the supply, with the required documents checked for the particular order. If the vessel changes its destination or receiving conditions, review the affected lines and arrangements rather than treating the earlier proposal as automatically transferable.

SVC’s warehouse network in Vung Ang and Thach Khe includes supply storage and bonded warehousing. Our team prepares provisions and ship stores through this local network and plans delivery to the vessel’s receiving point. Product availability, the required documents and the handling arrangement are confirmed against the order and port call.

04

Keep the outstanding balance easy to audit

We reconcile the accepted goods and retain a clear outstanding balance. If a delivery contains fewer individual packs than the agreed selling unit, state the actual contents. Preserve any accepted alternative alongside the original line reference.

The next supply should use that actual balance. Do not reorder the full initial list because one receipt is incomplete. Keep each delivery record intact so the vessel can distinguish an accepted first load from goods still awaiting confirmation or dispatch.

Questions about Bonded stores for Cua Lo and Nghe An calls

Should quantities be given as packs or cases?

Use the intended selling unit and state its full contents. If the vessel requests individual packs, identify that explicitly so the quotation does not silently substitute a different case quantity.

Can the order be confirmed without the berth?

The product proposal can be reviewed, but dispatch depends on the confirmed call-specific receiving arrangement, documentation and applicable requirements. Send the actual receiving details as soon as available.

08

Request a Cua Lo service quotation

Email the SVC supply desk with the item list, specification or food preparation, pack contents, quantity and receiving window. Include the actual Cua Lo berth or nominated position and the latest vessel schedule. SVC returns the proposed scope and outstanding confirmations for acceptance.
