Any welding or other hot work needs the appropriate agreed working arrangements. A proposed worklist should identify the checks and witness requirements requested for the completed assembly, with additional defects or quantities recorded before they become unapproved repair extensions.

Record the repair and its actual checks
We record the renewed components and the agreed checks completed. A dimensional inspection, leak check, pressure test and operating observation are different activities; the handover should state which were agreed and performed, with results where measured.
