Deck stores, ropes, paints and hoses at Cua Lo
SVC supplies ropes, paints, hoses, fittings and deck consumables at Cua Lo. Practical experience with onboard work helps our team match the requisition to the intended application and prepare packages the deck department can identify and receive.
01
Describe ropes by their intended application
We match ropes to their mooring or working application and specified construction. Identify whether the order concerns a mooring line, general working rope or another application. The end arrangement and delivery unit should be clear.
SVC quotes the proposed item against that specification, with alternatives returned for acceptance. Matching diameter alone does not establish that two ropes meet the same application. Keep a loose rope purchase separate from any request for fitting, splicing or other appointed work.
02
Keep the coating system and container contents explicit
Our supply team identifies the coating system, product and container contents. State any associated thinner or preparation product as its own item. A coating name without the application or pack size may not define a comparable supply.
Proposed alternatives need the buyer’s technical acceptance for the intended system. SVC quotes the identified products and available documentation; a stores order does not establish an unrecorded coating application, surface-preparation result or warranty for another manufacturer’s system.
03
Measure hose connections before accepting a match
We check hose ends, fittings and mating connections before supplying an assembly. Include threads, flanges, mating components or relevant drawings and measurements. A photograph is useful for orientation but may not distinguish a connection that looks similar and will not mate correctly.
Keep any complete hose assembly separate from loose couplings, seals or adapters. SVC returns the proposed arrangement for acceptance before purchase. The vessel should identify an uncertain measurement as pending rather than treating an approximate visual comparison as a final part reference.
04
Receive stores by the deck worklist
We prepare and reconcile deck stores against the vessel’s worklist. Label the accepted products against their requisition lines so the deck receiver can distinguish paint containers, rope lengths and component packages.
At handover, record quantities accepted and any short, returned or mismatched items. If fitting or repair is also requested, quote that task and its access window separately. A delivery note for stores should remain distinguishable from a completion record for onboard work.

Questions about Deck stores, ropes, paints and hoses at Cua Lo
Can an alternative paint or rope be offered?
Yes, with its actual product specification and pack or length details. The buyer’s acceptance must address the intended application; similar size or a familiar description alone does not establish equivalence.
What should accompany a hose-end photograph?
Send the service, hose size and length, both-end connection types and the dimensions or mating-component details available. This helps identify a supply that fits the retained equipment.
08
Request a Cua Lo service quotation
Email the SVC supply desk with the item list, specification or food preparation, pack contents, quantity and receiving window. Include the actual Cua Lo berth or nominated position and the latest vessel schedule. SVC returns the proposed scope and outstanding confirmations for acceptance.
