Ship provisions and galley supplies at Hon La
SVC supplies fresh food, frozen provisions and dry galley stores at Hon La. Our ship-supply team works through the cook’s requisition, prepares the selected goods and completes an orderly onboard handover with clear food and pack quantities.
01
Build a practical pantry and fresh-food list
Our team builds the food order around the cook’s pantry and fresh-food requirements. Give each item’s preparation, quantity, unit and preferred pack contents. Rice, flour, dry goods and canned food need usable pack descriptions just as meat, fish and vegetables need clear product specifications.
The cook’s menu and storage arrangements affect that balance. Send dietary requirements on the relevant lines and identify acceptable alternatives. SVC returns the offered product, pack and quantity for acceptance; a general cuisine preference should not be treated as evidence of certification for an unspecified product.
02
Compare food offers by contents, not labels alone
We compare proposed foods by usable contents and preparation. Keep the selling-unit contents visible in the quotation and ask the cook to accept any change. A smaller pack with a familiar product name is not automatically an equivalent replenishment.
If a line is unavailable as requested, keep the proposed replacement separate from the original description. The buyer can then accept it, revise the quantity or leave the item open. This avoids an unapproved substitute appearing only when the galley opens the delivery package.
03
Confirm the Hon La receiving point
We plan the delivery to the actual Hon La receiving point. Hon La enquiries need the receiving facility and arrangements for that call; do not assume that a general port-area address establishes a confirmed transfer route.
Tell SVC whether the vessel can accept the full food load and move chilled or frozen packages to the intended storage. Keep any technical-store or cleaning-product load identifiable separately. Changes to the receiving point or timing need a revised dispatch instruction.
04
Keep the final galley receipt useful
We record the galley receipt and identify the remaining food balance. Preserve the purchasing unit so a carton count does not conceal a different food weight from the one quoted. Note a substitute against its original requisition line.
The balance for a later delivery should come from that actual receipt. If the vessel requests outstanding food at Son Duong, Vung Ang or Cua Lo instead, confirm the next port’s receiving plan and any revised product proposal before purchasing the remaining items.
