Air-conditioning repair and the recorded work items
SVC undertook an air-conditioning repair job in Vung Tau on 20 October 2026. The issued work-done report lists thermostatic expansion-valve items; a signed acceptance copy has not been verified for this page.
The report identifies the A/C repair scope. The available record does not contain measured temperatures, pressure readings or a commissioning result, so this case does not claim vessel acceptance, restored cooling capacity or an operating-performance figure.
Identify the circuit before selecting the valve
An expansion-valve enquiry should identify the actual A/C circuit, refrigerant, valve marking and connection arrangement. Photographs should show the valve body and its identification clearly, with any separate element or connection details. A similar-looking component from another circuit is not sufficient evidence of interchangeability.
Thermostatic expansion valves regulate refrigerant flow to the evaporator. Valve and element selection depends on the application; for a new repair, send the equipment and valve identification rather than requesting a generic replacement by appearance. The quotation should distinguish the specified components from fitting, testing and any additional investigation.
Keep the repair and operating checks identifiable
For a new A/C attendance, explain whether the crew reports poor cooling, intermittent operation or a suspected component fault. Provide the operating observations and maintenance history available to the vessel. These are investigation inputs, not an automatic diagnosis of a failed expansion valve.
Agree the isolation, access and appointed work with the vessel team. Record the components and work undertaken separately from the checks or readings actually obtained. Any refrigerant handling or additional component work belongs in the agreed scope; a completed item list alone should not be expanded into an unrecorded pressure test or commissioning claim.
Arrange the next marine A/C repair in Vung Tau
Send the berth or anchorage, ETA and working window, A/C equipment identification, valve photographs, refrigerant details and the crew’s fault observations. Identify the reporting and operating checks required so SVC can quote the repair work and any separately appointed investigation.
See refrigeration maintenance in Vietnam, ship repair in Vung Tau and ship repair services in Vietnam for the related technical and port-call scope.
Also serving Son Duong, Vung Ang and Cua Lo
SVC also receives A/C fault inspection and repair enquiries for Son Duong, Vung Ang and Cua Lo. Send the actual berth or anchorage, equipment or underwater worklist, ETA and working window so the team can define the appointed scope for that call.
For vessel provisions and stores during a Central Vietnam call, see Vung Ang-Son Duong supply and Cua Lo ship chandling. Supply, repair and diving are separate appointments with their own receiving, access and work requirements.
