Review SVC Marine incinerator, boiler and air compressor work records. Send maker details, fault observations and your Vietnam attendance window.
01
Incinerator, boiler and compressor repairs
SVC Marine inspects and repairs marine incinerators, boilers and air compressors in Vietnam. Our work records include incinerator controls and pumps, temporary boiler repairs, expansion joints and compressor components. Several machines can be included in one port-call worklist, with the fault, parts and required checks listed for each machine.
Identify each machine with its maker, model and equipment reference. Describe the alarm, interruption or observed condition and include the readings already recorded by the vessel. State when the problem occurs, what records are available and whether the request is inspection, maintenance or repair. Keep preliminary assumptions separate from documented observations.

02
Incinerator fault attendance
The waste-oil incinerator record includes control boards, gauges, burner connections and pump photographs. These show the breadth of equipment that may be relevant to an incinerator enquiry. The work scope is defined from the actual alarm, equipment details and inspection findings.
For a new request, send the alarm wording and available maker diagrams. Identify the affected control or pump reference if known. Describe the vessel's operating observations and the circumstances of the interruption. The proposed attendance should distinguish investigation, replacement items, mechanical work, electrical work and any checks required by the agreed scope.
03
Boiler work and the temporary-repair distinction
The boiler temporary repair record shows a tube plate with marked tubes and prepared plugs. A separate boiler and expansion-joint record includes a removed expansion joint. The boiler record concerns a temporary repair; expansion-joint work is recorded separately.
A boiler enquiry needs the equipment specification, affected area and available inspection information. Identify whether the proposed work is inspection, a temporary arrangement or a permanent repair. Send the applicable technical instructions and acceptance requirements where available. Agree whether the proposed work is temporary or permanent, the required technical review and any operating restrictions with the responsible parties.
The quotation should identify any technical review, witness attendance and completion records required for the actual proposal. Where a Surveyor's acceptance is needed, specify that requirement before attendance rather than treating it as an assumed outcome of the work.
04
Air compressor work
The air compressor repair record includes pressure-switch, cylinder-head and associated pipework photographs. These are separate subjects within compressor attendance. Start an enquiry with the compressor maker and model, the equipment reference and the observed operating problem.
Include readings and inspection findings already recorded aboard, along with relevant drawings. Identify whether the request involves the machine, controls, pipe connections or adjacent mounting work. Ask the proposed scope to distinguish component inspection, parts, refitting and testing. For a refrigeration compressor, use the separate refrigeration maintenance record so different equipment duties remain clear.
05
Work planning and handover
A combined enquiry should group components by machine and identify access, available outages and the requested return window. State which spare parts are already held aboard and which require quotation. Include drawing revisions and references for components that may be removed or supplied.
Define what technical records are needed at handover, such as inspection findings, replaced-part references and agreed operating-check records. The scope and applicable documentation determine the relevant tests. Photos provide visual context for the work performed, while the machine-specific completion documents record the actual inspection and agreed acceptance.
06
Plan attendance around the actual port call
Send the port or anchorage, ETA, ETD, available working period and any vessel restrictions with the defect list. SVC reviews the required access, planned cargo operations and other work that affects attendance. The quotation identifies inspection, parts, fabrication, onboard labour, testing and any attendance by a Surveyor. Agree the required completion records, witness arrangements and handover responsibilities before work starts so each item can be followed through to completion.
For a wider worklist, use SVC Marine ship repair services. Email the repair enquiry with drawings, equipment references and photographs through the private enquiry channel. SVC Marine is proud to help complete the full lifecycle of a vessel.
