For an appointed vessel call at the DAP berth in Hai Phong, send SVC Marine the confirmed berth or anchorage, ETA, repair worklist or supply requisition and available work window. SVC checks the work it can perform after vessel and terminal access are confirmed.

01

The listed DAP berth in Hai Phong

The Vietnam Maritime and Waterway Administration lists the DAP berth in the Dinh Vu area of Hai Phong. Its listed operator is Công ty cổ phần DAP Vinachem, and its published function is general, bulk and dry cargo. The berth name does not by itself establish chemical-tanker acceptance, particular raw-material import or fertilizer export movements, or permission for an onboard repair.

Confirm the actual terminal, berth, cargo operation and vessel acceptance with the operator and responsible port agent. SVC uses those details to plan its appointed vessel-side work; it does not operate the berth or approve the port call.

  • Location: Dinh Vu area, Hai Phong, Vietnam
  • Listed operator: Công ty cổ phần DAP Vinachem
  • Published berth function: general, bulk and dry cargo
  • For this call: confirm berth, cargo window, access and receiving point

02

Define the repair or supply scope

Send the defect or requisition before the vessel arrives. SVC reviews photographs, drawings, machinery details and the available work window, then identifies the personnel, materials and checks needed for the proposed scope. Cargo handling, isolation, enclosed-space entry, hot work and lifting may restrict when and how a job can be done.

The master, operator and terminal must confirm safe access and the applicable permits. A repair quotation is tied to the agreed worklist, not to a blanket promise that all work can be carried out alongside this berth.

  • Repair: send the defect, location, photographs, equipment make/model, drawings, previous checks and available spares.
  • Supply: send specifications, quantities, units, requested delivery time and authorised receiving contact.
  • Urgent attendance: give the operational impact, ETA/ETD, safe access point and decision-maker so SVC can check availability and a workable response.

03

SVC Marine's appointed vessel work

When appointed and allowed to board, SVC personnel inspect the agreed defect, perform the permitted repair or deliver the agreed order, and record what they actually completed. The vessel, berth operator, authorised agent, customs authority and class retain their separate decisions.

  • Afloat and voyage repair: SVC assesses machinery, piping and steel defects from the vessel's worklist, carries out a permitted repair with its team and documents the completed checks. Tank or line work requires its own isolation, entry and safety assessment; it is not assumed from the berth name.
  • Ship supply: SVC checks the requisition, sources available provisions or technical spares, delivers the agreed goods to the approved receiving point and records the handover.
  • Ship sale and purchase: under a separate brokerage mandate, SVC searches suitable bulk carriers, chemical tankers or other vessels, checks particulars, arranges an appointed inspection and negotiates or counters MOA terms. A DAP berth call alone is not evidence of a sale mandate or a chemical-tanker call here.
  • Agency-related documents: if separately appointed, SVC prepares its own attendance, work and delivery information for the responsible parties. An authorised declarant or port agent handles its formalities; customs and port authorities make their own decisions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can SVC repair a vessel at the DAP berth?

SVC can assess an appointed afloat repair from the defect report, photographs, confirmed vessel location and work window. It confirms the method after safe access, terminal rules, permits and any required survey attendance are known.

Does the DAP berth handle chemical tankers or a particular fertilizer shipment?

The maritime authority lists the berth for general, bulk and dry cargo. That listing alone does not confirm a chemical-tanker call or a specific shipment. Confirm vessel and cargo acceptance with the berth operator and responsible port agent.

What should we send for machinery, piping or tank work?

Send the precise defect and location, equipment details, photographs, drawings, previous checks, spares on board and available work window. For a tank or line, add the contents, isolation status and entry or hot-work constraints so SVC can assess a safe method.

Does SVC approve customs clearance or port entry?

No. SVC can prepare its agreed repair, supply and attendance records. The authorised declarant, agent, terminal and authorities control formalities, access and approvals. Send their contacts with the worklist so the permitted handover can be planned.
