Port information and service details

A repair request in Hai Phong needs the terminal or shipyard berth, rather than the city name alone. Send the defect, access arrangements and the period available alongside so our team can plan onboard work and any workshop stage.

01

Repair requirements at Hai Phong

  • crane and deck machinery defects
  • electric motor and generator faults
  • pipe leaks and steel renewal

02

Onboard work and completion records

Our repair teams attend the vessel and carry out the appointed steel, pipework, mechanical or electrical scope. Our divers undertake the appointed underwater work. Inspection findings, progress photographs, test results and outstanding items are recorded in the SVC job report.

Work at berth or anchorage is confirmed against the actual vessel location, safe access, port permissions, isolation arrangements and the time available. The quotation defines the work, materials, deliverables and exclusions. Additional work is quoted for approval.

03

Send the repair requirement

Email [email protected] with the port and terminal or anchorage, ETA and ETD, defect description, equipment maker and model, photographs or drawings, and the proposed worklist. State any class or survey attendance requirement. SVC will review the scope and issue a quotation.

01

Ship supply for your Hai Phong port call

SVC Marine provides ship chandler support for vessels calling Hai Phong, including provisions, deck and engine stores, marine spare parts and repair materials. Send the vessel requisition with the terminal or anchorage and delivery window so our supply team can check specifications, availability and receiving arrangements.

Identify the actual receiving point for calls at Lach Huyen, Dinh Vu or another Hai Phong terminal. A berth delivery, port-gate handover and transfer through an agent or launch boat require different arrangements. Include the vessel or agent contact responsible for receiving the order.

02

Provisions, stores and technical materials

Separate the order by product group so the quotation is easy to check. For provisions, state pack sizes and any dietary requirements. For stores, give the item description, quantity and unit. For technical spares, include maker, model, part number and a drawing or photograph where available.

  • Provisions: fresh, chilled, frozen and dry food, drinking water and beverages, with requested pack sizes and quantities.
  • Deck and engine stores: tools, maintenance consumables, gaskets, fasteners, hoses and fittings against the requisition.
  • Technical spares and repair materials: equipment references, dimensions, material requirements and any requested certificates.
  • Marine paint and lubricants: current product, grade or specification, quantity and packaging.

03

From requisition to delivery handover

SVC reviews the item list, checks available products and prepares a quotation identifying the offered specifications and delivery scope. State whether alternatives are acceptable; any proposed substitution is submitted for approval before purchase. For urgent items, identify the operational requirement and latest useful delivery time.

The approved order is prepared for the nominated receiving point. Confirm the receiving contact, access arrangements and handover documents with the supply team. Keep any revised quantity or delivery instruction in the approved order so the vessel and purchasing desk can reconcile the delivery.
