For a vessel calling at the Hai Linh liquid-cargo berth, send SVC Marine the actual berth or anchorage, ETA, repair defect or supply requisition and the available work window. SVC assesses the appointed vessel-side work and confirms what can be done after the terminal and vessel approve access.

01

Hai Linh's listed liquid-cargo berth

The Vietnam Maritime and Waterway Administration lists this berth in the Hai Phong port area at Dam Mam, Ha Doan 2. Its listed operator is Hai Linh Hai Phong Petroleum One Member Co., Ltd. The published berth function is liquid cargo, including petroleum, liquefied gas and vegetable oil. That listing does not establish acceptance of every tanker, chemical cargo or proposed service operation.

The berth operator and appointed port agent confirm the actual call, cargo restrictions, entry route and work permission. A vessel-service enquiry does not itself secure a berth, cargo access or permission for hot work, diving or fuel transfer.

  • Confirm the terminal, berth or approved anchorage and the vessel's ETA and ETD with the operator and responsible agent.
  • Tell SVC whether cargo transfer is planned while the requested repair, supply or inspection would take place.

02

SVC Marine's appointed vessel-side work

SVC works from the vessel's defect report, worklist or requisition. Its repair and supply teams perform an agreed scope after access and safety controls are confirmed. The terminal, agent, authorities, class and any licensed fuel-transfer provider retain their own decisions and duties.

  • Ship repair: SVC reads the fault details, boards when authorised, inspects the agreed machinery, piping, steel or safety-equipment defect, performs the permitted repair and records work and checks actually completed.
  • Ship supply: SVC checks item specifications and quantities, quotes available provisions, stores or technical spares, delivers an agreed order to the approved receiving point and records handover.
  • Urgent repair and bunker enquiries: SVC assesses the time-critical worklist or fuel requirement and states its own repair or supply scope. The terminal and responsible licensed parties control cargo and fuel-transfer operations.
  • Local agency and documents: if separately appointed, SVC prepares the agreed attendance and delivery papers and provides the vessel-call details needed for its own scope. A legally authorised declarant, the terminal and the authorities control customs and cargo decisions.
  • Ship sale and purchase: under a separate buyer or seller mandate, SVC searches suitable oil, chemical or gas-carrier candidates, checks particulars, arranges an appointed inspection and negotiates or counters the MOA. A port call alone does not establish a brokerage mandate.

03

Plan the job around liquid-cargo safety

Before confirming an onboard method, SVC needs the vessel and terminal's restrictions on access, isolation, gas safety, ignition sources, cargo operations and any surveyor attendance. SVC records the work it performs; a repair note or diving photograph is not a class certificate or a port permit.

  • For repair: send the equipment make and model, defect history, photographs, drawings, available spares, isolation status and work window.
  • For supply or bunker enquiries: send the exact grade or item specification, quantity, unit, receiving point and required delivery time.
  • For an inspection: state the area and purpose, access conditions, required report and whether class or the owner has requested attendance.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can SVC carry out repair during a Hai Linh berth call?

SVC can assess the appointed defect and working window, then carry out the agreed vessel-side repair when the vessel and terminal permit access and the required isolation or hot-work controls are in place. Send the defect report, photographs and ETA first.

Does SVC grant port access or customs clearance?

SVC can prepare the agreed attendance or delivery documents within an appointed scope, but it cannot grant access or customs approval. The legally authorised declarant, terminal and authorities make those decisions for the particular call.

Can SVC supply spares, stores or a bunker requirement?

Send the requisition, specification, quantity, receiving contact and delivery window. SVC checks and quotes the agreed supply scope and records handover where appointed. Fuel transfer and terminal operations remain with the authorised parties.

Does this berth listing confirm a chemical tanker or LPG carrier call?

No. The public berth listing identifies liquid-cargo functions, including liquefied gas, but the operator and agent must confirm the vessel, cargo, berth and operating conditions for the actual call.

Repair or supply for your next port call?

Send the repair worklist to shiprepair@svcmarine.com or the supply requisition to shipchandler@svcmarine.com.
