Ship repair at Da Nang: describe the fault first

Machinery, cargo gear and onboard equipment
Our technical teams inspect the reported fault and undertake the commissioned repair or overhaul. The worklist may concern a main or auxiliary engine, pump, valve, air compressor, deck machinery, hatch equipment or cargo gear. Maker, model, observed symptoms and available parts determine the inspection and quotation.
SVC records the findings, work performed, tests and outstanding items. Navigation or communication equipment, LSA and FFE servicing are defined as distinct equipment scopes with their required personnel and records. Our welders and fitters renew steel and pipework
SVC welders and fitters carry out the commissioned steel renewal, fabrication, structural repair and pipework. We examine the affected area, drawings, material requirements and access before pricing the worklist.

Our divers inspect, clean and perform underwater work
SVC diving teams carry out the appointed underwater inspection, hull cleaning, propeller polishing or repair work. The enquiry needs the affected underwater area or equipment, the vessel location, proposed work and available drawings or photographs.

Superintendent inspections and repair records
For an appointed owner-representation scope, our superintendent boards the vessel, examines the defects, compares quotations and negotiates the agreed repair items. During attendance, we inspect the commissioned work, record progress and identify variations for the owner or manager to decide.
Our completion file records inspection findings, progress photographs, the tests witnessed, outstanding items, service reports and invoice review within the appointment. Ship supply at Da Nang: requisition and onboard delivery
SVC supplies the agreed provisions, stores, consumables, tools, spare parts and marine equipment and delivers the appointed requisition to the vessel. Supply is a separate enquiry from repair labour, even where parts are needed for the same port call.

Plan the port call around the worklist
