Scrubber Overboard Repairing – Quy Nhon Port

Our repair squad attended onboard at Quy Nhon Anchorage on 10-13 Feb, in order to repair the two overboard pipes as per below work scope:

+ Underwater job:

After divers plugging, relevant overboard valve was be removed from E/R side and inspection was be performed to check pipes internal condition.

+ Inside E/R job:

Proceed with cutting of the big diameter pipe portion at the position of the already existing welding seam, and fitting a new, pre-fabricated by us, pipe with new flange. Prefabricated pipe is DN250 SCH120 (ID=230.12mm / OD=273.1mm / t=21.44mm).

Connecting flange with pipes, bevelling pipe and prepare pre-fabricating pipes.

Adjusting pre-fabricating pipes, TIG Welding was applied.

Completed welding.

BELZONA 1212 was fitting.

Comleted removing wedge and testing successfully crubber overboard pipes in good order.
